Terms of use

1. Purpose

TripMyWeek is an AI-assisted travel-itinerary generator with a community space where members can share, rate and comment on itineraries. These Terms govern your use of the website and its features. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them in full.

2. Access and account

  • You must be at least 15 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian.
  • One account per person; the information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available.
  • Some features may be limited during the Beta phase (e.g. a cap on the number of AI generations).

3. The service

Based on the criteria you enter, the service produces a suggested itinerary (day-by-day plan, map, budget estimate and links to third-party booking comparators). Content is generated automatically and provided for guidance only.

4. Community space, public itineraries and reviews

  • Public itineraries. Saved itineraries may be displayed in the community showcase. They are shown without your real name — only a nickname or an initials acronym. Do not include personal or sensitive information in an itinerary you save.
  • Nickname. Your public nickname is chosen once and is then permanent. It must not be offensive, misleading, impersonate anyone, or infringe third-party rights.
  • Ratings and comments. You may rate an itinerary (1–5 stars) and leave a comment. You may not rate your own itinerary. Comments must remain respectful and relevant: no insults, hate speech, harassment, sexual or illegal content, advertising or spam, links, or personal data.
  • Moderation. Free-text comments may be checked automatically (a keyword filter and an AI classifier) and/or manually before or after publication. We may reject, hide or remove any content that breaches these rules, without notice. Pre-approved suggested phrases are published immediately.
  • Your content. You remain the owner of the content you post. By publishing it, you grant TripMyWeek a free, non-exclusive license to host, display and distribute it within the service. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights.

5. Acceptable use

  • No abusive automated use, scraping, or attempt to overload or bypass the service or its security.
  • No illegal, infringing, defamatory or misleading content.
  • No reverse engineering or unauthorized commercial reuse of the service.

6. Intellectual property

The “TripMyWeek” name, logo, interface and original content are protected. Maps come from OpenStreetMap, weather from Open-Meteo, and photographs from Wikimedia Commons, under their respective licenses.

7. Itineraries and liability

Itineraries, budgets, schedules and booking links are indicative and automatically generated; they may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always check official information (opening hours, prices, availability, safety, entry requirements) before booking or travelling. The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of continuous availability, particularly during Beta. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TripMyWeek cannot be held liable for indirect damages or for decisions made on the basis of these suggestions.

8. Third-party links

The service points to third-party comparators and booking sites. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content, prices or terms.

9. Personal data

Processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and termination

These Terms may change; the applicable version is the one online when you use the service. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account in case of breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; you may also refer to a consumer mediator. Contact: contactme@tripmyweek.fr.
